A Level Art - AS Mock

Mock exam sketchbook portfolio with final piece for year 1 AS
All the handwriting was done with a quill I made myself and a pot of writing ink.
The mock exam question was "Recycled materials"
I looked at different artists who used recycled materials to create their pieces and tried to create pieces of my own which built up and idea of what I wanted to create for a final piece.

I created my own Joseph Cornell box with my own meaningful trinkets and curation of media. This box is a tribute to old beach holidays with family.

This artist created many pieces with the theme of joining man and nature together in a beautiful harmony. I created my own piece with a severed wing nestled in a old hollowed book about birds.

Artist Response- Valerie Hegarty
This artist created art with the theme of frames and old paintings being reclaimed by nature. I tried a similar inspired piece of a mirror leaking out ugly disgusting substances on a stained wall.
